The Israeli delegation, with Aaron with the head of it, has decided to make a national final to select their song for Israel.
Eden Ben Zaken will be the representative in Dublin, and we already know that 6 songs will compete to represent the country in Ireland. The delegation has revealed that the songs are: 1. The British delegation have revealed more artists that will be participating in their national final, taht will take place 22nd of May in Manchester.
Kaiser Chiefs, Harry Styles, Celeste, Adele, Girls Aloud and Fka Twigs will join Lily Allen and Rihanna ft. Calvin Harris in the already known Our Eurosong For Dublin. Ekin Beril will fly the flag for Turkey in Dublin, as we already know.
Head of delegation's Selim and the artist have already presented the five songs that will compete in their first national final "Which Song Should Ekin Compete With?": Zaman Son Dualite Uzayın Dibi Denge Bükülür Galaksiler The delegation has also stated that the voting will be taken from televoting points and no jury will be involved. It is yet to be decided the exact way they will collect the points from the public. The British delegation is already working to choose their representative in Ireland and have started revealing the artists competing in their national final. Our Eurosong to Ireland will take place May 22 and will have 10 artists participating to represent the United Kingdom in the third edition.
First confirmed artists include Lilly Allen, and Rihanna featuring Calvin Harris. Ireland was won the jury and televote in the second edition of the Eurosong Online Contest with 312 points. The Irish singer has expressed she feels very honoured and happy to have won the contest for the first time for her country. Monaco's Fischbach ended up in second place, with 260 points. The top 6 was completed by Morocco, Liechtenstein, Ukraine and Austria. The organization is already working in the next edition, that will take place in the end of June. As Ireland has become the winner of the second edition of the Eurosong Online Contest, the results of the Semi-Finals have been revealed.
We know now that Liechtenstein was the winner of the first semi-final with 172 points, followed by Monaco with 150. Kosovo missed out the final against Italy. On the other hand, Morocco won the second semi-final with 191 points, followed by Ireland with 178, who would eventually become the winner of the second edition. Lithuania missed out the final against Greece for one single point, as Lithuania ended up in 8th place with televoting but scored worse with the juries. Do you agree with these results? After each Semi-Final, each qualifying act drew in which half of the Grand Final they would perform. This is the running order for the Grand Final: 1. Israel 2. Ukraine 3. Finland 4. Australia 5. To come to a decision, the producers look at the genre of music, whether a song is performed by a solo singer or group, the use of props, the tempo of the song and various other aspects of each act. The ten qualifiers of the second semi-final have been revealed in a very exciting announcement. Turkey, France, Austria, Belgium, Hungary, San Marino, Morocco, Czech Republic, Ireland and Greece are in the grand final, leaving the big favourites Russia and Norway behind. The running order for the final it is being decided and will be revealed in a few minutes. The final will start tomorrow and the show will be premiered on YouTube at 21:00 (CET). Monaco, Lebanon, Switzerland, Finland, Italy, Belarus, Liechtenstein, Israel, Bulgaria and Germany are the ten qualifiers of tonight's show. They will perform again the grand final that will take place the 16th of May in the Globen Arena and will join the automatic qualifiers Australia, Denmark, Netherlands, Ukraine and the United Kingdom, plus the ten qualifiers from the second semi-final that will be revealed on Thursday. Israel is the favourite to win the competition according to the bookmakers, with a 10.59% of winning chances, followed by its neighbour Lebanon with 8.62% and Estonia with 8.13%. Austria with 7.14% and United Kingdom with 6.16% close up the top 5 . Daniel Yafe with the song Im Zo Ahava is representing Israel this edition and is performing in the first semi-final. Israel was also the bookings favourite along with Sweden in the past edition, and it achieved a 8th position in the competition overall (12th in the televote and 5th with the juries).
